40-foot High Cube Container
40' High-cube containers tend to be more popular than 40' standard containers. High cubes are a foot taller, thus providing more space. The other benefit is that in some markets, the 40' high cube containers are cheaper than 40' standards.
There tend to be more 40'HC's in use for commercial shipping—a trend that is only growing. In the one-trip/”new” market, the 40’ high cube is often the only choice as one-trip 40’ standards are not as common as one-trip 40’ high cubes.
